What can I say: it's Star Wars - OK wait; there's one thing I can say . While graphics were superb :gameplay was not. When will developers learn that button pressure and quickness make for better gaming. Rather than having the character  jumping high into the air every time it would be nice to be able control quick short jumps and leaps toward the enemy. While gameplay was not so hot I do find this replayable based on the new Sith costumes available. I defeated this game rather quickly but this is Star Warsm  , man ! It's replayable all day long. However I could not give it higher than what I did based on the controls. Renewable playability is there but gameplay is not. It's a trade-off . If this were not Sith edition ,I could not recommend as high ! Hopefully this will be resolved in part 2 !

Quick Tips:

1. Slow down on the button mashing , this game is more inclined toward pausing and facing in the right direction when executing moves than it is a hack-and-slash
2. acheive better force combos by manuevering correctly rather than simple buttonmashing

there are four main levels to choose in this game. Each with own unique worlds and mission, but as in any good star wars game, the playability is in it superb graphics. Content is rich and enemies are numerous and the feeling of taking on the whole iniverse is appreciated when getting into a groove

Ratings for Mom's : This game is suitable for almost all ages unless fantasy violence is not in your level of acceptability.

Game Review - Heavy Rain

This was definielty the most unique game to date for the PS3. Overall this was a great game with only a few minor details I found annoying, First, game control for walking was a little tricky at times but the unique button play of this game is unique to itself only. Inline with the Move coming out in fall the unique way in which you turn , tilt and use the controller was cool. Second part I found slightly annoying was the touchy , feely aspect of one of the character's stories. It seemed a bit odd , overly sad and slow but definitely played into the story of the game. While I was able to finish the game fairly quickly, it is definitely more than a wekend rental to complete. If you have the chance to buy this and the money it is definitely worth checking out especially since the outcome changes depending on how quick your reflexes are in certain parts. With different endings available it is definitely playable more than once.

Quick Tips:

1. relax but be ready for certain events bcz reflexes and quick button pressing will be needed in certain parts which decide the outcome in the game
2. check everything twice bcz many parts are hidden by not moving the controller in every possible direction to search by viwing
3. put your mind in a different mode when figuring clues bcz some are out of the ordinary. This whole game is out of the ordinary !

Quick Walk-Through:

using four different characters, you traverse the 3D world using differet controller inputs to do simple tasks such as open closets, pick up mail, and even eat which opens certain cutscenes adding to the story ,all while in search of clues to a killers identity; the Origami Killer! Each of the four characters starts out with a short prolouge introduction and their role in the game. The game progresses and character change happen automatically with different cutscenes determined by the inputs you have entered previously from that point on. From their you obtain clues by interacting with other characters , accessing the thoughts of your own charcter and plain old good detective work ! This is a must try game based on its poriginality only as it shows the progression of gaming to new levels not imagined as of yet!

Rating for Mom's:  not for kids elemetary or middle school based on mature content such as prostitution, nudity and other adult content associated with a murder mystery game !

Accessories Review: PS3 Wi-Fi controller

A must for any aggressive gamer. Not being dogleashed is the best thing that happened to gaming ! This is the Dualshock 3 with with shock vibration .I found the batteries to run low only after about 20 + hours  or so  and can be recharged by using the built-in USB port !  There's also an AC adapter charger that I'll be reviewing seperately !

• Ratings For Mom's  -  never worry about your child sitting to close to the T.V. set ever again. Then again ,if they're playing enough hours that you think they'll go cross-eyed than their probably getting a D in Math class !

Game Review: God of War III

   Game Pre-view: God of War III

To be released March 26 th ! Once again the God of War, Aries is off to do battle with Zeuss !  Hopefully the gameplay has some  added features to add to the depth but judging from the last two games in the series I think this will still be a good buy ! Unless you're able to play for 72 hours straight on one day's rent then this game will probably have enough playable hours to warrant a buy. Check my rating !

Game Review : Heavenly Sword ( Naruko )

The game is set in an immersive world  . The objectivve of the game is to take the main character (Naruko) around the massive world using the heavenly sword and an array of  othr weapons . The plot of the game is like any typical action game however the gameplay is not so typical. Rather than just a press and slash like most games, the game makers have added a round of linked moves that make the gameplay a little more enteretaining! Not many hours of gameplay to give a higher rating but the graphics are exceptional.  Most gamerz will be able to defeat the game in a few days of renting or even over a weekend. If you're a play-over and over kind of gamer than this may still be a good buy if the price is right!

Quick Tips:

1. sidequests and extras should be played to get the full scope of the game
2. play the sidequest before moving up a level or the sidequest will be lost
